An Ozone System is Part of a Much Larger Whole
At Finnegan-Reztek, we see the ozone system not as an isolated
piece of machinery but as one part of a much larger whole,
your factory, brewery, or aquarium. If you’re installing
an ozone system into a new facility your goal is to achieve
cooperation and balance between each one of your integral
systems. Likewise, if you are simply adding an ozone system
to your existing facility your goal, and ours, is to preserve
the existing harmony between each piece of equipment. In other
words, incorporating an ozone system into your facility should
not disrupt the behavior of any other piece of equipment;
it should cooperate with all of your other equipment.
Promoting Harmony Between Your Facility
and Your Ozone System
The best time to ensure that your ozone system does, in fact,
promote harmony in your system is during the installation
and start-up. Start-up assistance from experience hands-on
technicians and engineers is critical.
Finnegan-Reztek engineers and technicians are trained in
the operation of virtually all makes and models of ozone generators:
- Del
- PCI-Wedeco
- Trailigaz
- Ozonia
- Novazone
- Welsbach
- American Ozone
- and most others
Our start-up technicians will review the details of your
ozone application closely. They can provide flow diagrams
and drawings to help you understand how to insert an ozone
system into your facility. They will review any applicable
literature and operations manuals not just for the ozone generator
that you are installing, but also for any ancillary or neighboring
equipment so they can best prescribe methods to make your
ozone system cooperate with what you already have on site.
Achieving Whole System Balance
When on site, they will work to achieve total system balance
between your ozone system and all other machinery. They will
adjust flows and pressures so that your ozone system is operating
according to specification and not voiding out any manufacturer’s
warranty. They will check the dew points on all air dryers,
dessicant and refrigerated. In addition, they can review the
performance and placement of ancilarry equipment including
oxygen concentrators, air compressors, ozone destruct units,
mixing sytems, injector, contact tanks, de-gas tanks, and
virtually any other piece of equipment with which your ozone
system interacts.
Ozone System Reference Material
Finally, Finnegan-Reztek technicians can compile all relevant
operations and maintenance manuals so that you, the end-user,
have reference material that covers not only the ozone generator
but the ozone system as a whole. If you request, they can
also write procedures for maintaining and operating you ozone
system in a way that preserves for as long as possible the
harmony that our technicians achieve on the start-up day.
